RCMP did nothing about what he was doing. Others half-cut down a heritage oak in my yard, pretending to be highways crew who made a "mistake". Then they tried to leave with the tree slowly falling onto my stable. My best friend was then threatened with death by the ex mayor who showed up, armed with a crowbar. I called RCMP who then harassed my friend for arguing with an "old man". When they came to harass me likewise, my 160 lb dog answered the door standing with his front legs above the doorsill. They ran to their car & refused to come out to talk. I set them straight & sent them on their way. Nothing was ever done about the death threats or the theft. Real highway employees showed up within an hour, finished the cut & took the huge trunk away to persons/place unknown, apparently.

Some of those ideas might start to seep into the collective consciousness.
